Guidance and Career Studies

The guidance program at Lawrence Park Collegiate reflects the Ministry of Education’s “Choices into Action” curriculum document. The counsellors provide students with educational, vocational and personal counselling with our emphasis reflecting the goal of the vast majority of our students: university admission. The TDSB provides assessments by placing both a school social worker and a school psychologist in the school on a regular basis. Delisle Youth Services has agreed to place a Child and Youth Worker in the school one day per week to help students with personal counselling.
